Basile vous présente son van
Our campervan is perfect for those who want to travel simply and stay as flexible as possible. At under 5 meters long, it drives almost like a regular car, making it a great choice even if you’ve never driven a campervan or larger vehicle before.
It fits into standard parking spaces, navigates narrow streets with ease, and, thanks to its low height, clears almost any height restriction. From the outside, it doesn’t immediately look like a campervan—ideal if you prefer to travel discreetly.
It’s also pleasantly economical: at around 100 km/h, the van uses approximately 6.3 liters of diesel per 100 km. With its large fuel tank, you can travel up to 1,200 km on a single tank under good conditions.
When converting the van, we wanted to use natural materials wherever possible and avoid buying everything new.
The van is insulated with secondhand cork, and most of the interior is built from wood. We reused and repurposed as many existing materials and items as we could. And something we’re particularly proud of: we didn’t order anything for the conversion from Amazon or similar platforms.
You can also stay largely self-sufficient while traveling. A solar panel charges the battery, which is additionally charged while driving or when plugged in at a campsite.
Equipments :
You’ll find everything you need for a relaxed road trip:
- 50-liter fridge with freezer compartment
- Comfortable sleeping area with bedding included
- Table with seating for four
- Two additional camping chairs—perfect for the beach or a spot you’ve discovered
- Power for charging phones and other small devices
- Solar shower
- Emergency toilet with seat and bags.
One of our favorite features: the pull-out outdoor kitchen at the back of the van. Simply open the rear doors, slide out the kitchen, and you’re ready to cook outside. It comes with a two-burner gas stove, a sink with tap, and cooking equipment (pots, pan, and other essentials).
Right next to the kitchen, you’ll also find plenty of practical storage space for food, luggage, and everything else you want to bring along. Basics like salt and oil are already on board.
You’ll also find two hammocks in the van, perfect for relaxing at the beach, between two trees, or wherever you find a beautiful spot.
We’ve also prepared a small manual with explanations about the van and our personal recommendations for the region. That way, you’ll know how everything works and have a few ideas for places to discover along the way.
For a little extra privacy, a pop-up privacy tent can be used outside for showering or as a toilet cabin.
If you’re traveling with extra equipment, the van has a tow hitch, and there are also options to attach additional gear to the roof using roof racks.
Larger devices like laptops can be charged while driving or when the van is connected to electricity at a campsite.
