Rui a été d’une gentillesse et d’une attention incroyable ! Il nous a conseillé et aiguillé pour notre road trip autour de l’île de madère et s’est toujours rendu disponible en cas de besoin. Le van est très bien aménagé et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour séjourner confortablement. Il roule sans problème malgré les fortes pentes et routes de montagnes de l’île. Grace à Park for night nous avons pu trouver des lieux magnifiques où passer la nuit. Je recommande à 100% la location avec Rui, encore merci à lui et à sa famille pour ce beau voyage qu’on a pu réaliser grâce à eux !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec ce camping-car ! Le véhicule est agréable à conduire et très confortable pour voyager. Tout était propre et bien équipé, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus plaisant. Les propriétaires sont vraiment sympathiques, disponibles et arrangeants, ce qui a facilité la location du début à la fin. Une super expérience que je recommande sans hésitation !

A huge thank you to Sara and João! Sara and João are truly wonderful people – warm, kind-hearted, and absolutely reliable. Thanks to them, we had an unforgettable stay on the island of São Miguel ❤️And yet… things didn’t start off well! We had originally booked another van through yes.capa several months in advance, but the owner cancelled without explanation just 10 days before our departure. We couldn’t leave a review or rating for that person, and there was no way of knowing they had cancelled previous bookings. One week before our trip, we found ourselves with no accommodation and no vehicle. Luckily, Sara and João’s van was still available – it literally saved our holiday, and even gave us the chance to meet two amazing people.About the van The van matches the description perfectly: clean, well-maintained, and in great condition. Its small size is a real advantage for driving in São Miguel (narrow streets, easy parking, low fuel consumption), but it does come with some limitations. We are both 1m75 (5'9") and had to sleep with our legs slightly bent, unless we opened the back doors – which turned out to be a pleasant option. Storage space for clothes is limited, and there’s no second battery (meaning no fridge or phone charging overnight – though you can charge while driving). We should mention we’re experienced road-trippers, so perhaps a little more demanding than average.Vanlife on the island Vanlife is still rare in the Azores and generally well tolerated – so please be respectful to help keep it that way (don’t leave anything behind, not even toilet paper). The van is well equipped for cooking. We didn’t use the shower bag since there are showers on most beaches (soap is not allowed – and for good reason). A small folding shovel could be a useful addition to the gear, making it easier to leave no trace at all 💩. We had amazing breakfasts on clifftops with breathtaking views. Travelling by van is a fantastic way to explore the island, follow the ever-changing weather (rain in one spot, sunshine just an hour’s drive away), and move around freely.In summary:Cons:Small van, limited storage and sleeping space for taller peopleNo second battery (no fridge, phone charging only while driving)Pros:Exceptionally kind and trustworthy owners – 100% reliableSmall, easy-to-drive van, perfect for narrow streets, easy to park, fuel-efficientClean, well-maintained vehicleConclusion: It’s far better to have a slightly smaller van with owners you can fully trust than a larger one with risks attached. Nous avons loué le camping-car de Martine et Olivier pour un voyage le long des côtes françaises, de la Dune du Pilat jusqu'en Normandie. Ce fut un voyage magnifique. L’accueil de ce couple chaleureux, compréhensif et précis a été très appréciable. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis à l’aise.Le Chausson est un véhicule récent, hyper fonctionnel et très agréable à conduire. Il possède toutes les dernières technologies (connexion, TV, Wi-Fi, tableau de commande, etc.). Nous recommandons donc ce véhicule, tant pour sa maniabilité et ses fonctionnalités que pour le professionnalisme et l’accueil de ses propriétaires.Nous avons voyagé en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants de 5 ans, 4 ans et 6 mois). We had an amazing experience with Suerte (the van). Carolina was available and gave us great tips! I recommend it if you are ready for adventure and slow trip. The van was reliable and exactly what we needed to reconnect. Great experience!
